On 01/29/2021 the Putnam County E-911 Joint Telecommunications Center received a call of a single motor vehicle accident on Highway 149, just South of the Highway O intersection.  

Upon officers arrival Scott W. Probasco was the operator of the vehicle and was not injured.  During the course of the investigation a .22 caliber rifle and .22 caliber shells were located hidden near the vehicle behind trees.  Scott is a convicted felon and is prohibited from possessing a firearm or ammunition.

Scott was issued a warrant for his arrest from the Missouri Department of Corrections Probation and Parole and other charges are pending in regards to the possession of the firearm and ammunition.
