On 07-19-2022 Sheriff Jason Knight sent three Deputies with the Putnam County Sheriff's Office to participate in an active shooter training in Memphis, MO. The training was provided by the Missouri State Highway Patrol. 

The training consisted of eight hours of modern active shooter scenerio and tactics. The valuable training will assist our office in keeping our schools and community safe. 

This training is in an effort for the Putnam County Sheriff's Office to stay up-to-date with current events and trends. We appreciate the Missouri State Highway Patrol for providing this training free of charge to area law enforcement agencies.
